Expect rain to affect the northern and eastern parts of the country until tomorrow.

The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this afternoon says a weak trough of low pressure lies slow moving over the eastern parts of the group.

Associated cloud and showers are expected to affect the northern and eastern parts of the country till early Wednesday.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group, expect some showers over Kadavu, Lau and Lomaiviti group.

Isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls likely .

Brief showers over greater Suva/Nausori – Tailevu, eastern Ra, Naitasiri and Serua-Namosi, Cakaudrove and northern and eastern Macuata Province.

Elsewhere, isolated thunderstorms likely in the afternoon and evening.

Moderate east to northeast winds and moderate seas.

The outlook for Thursday , expect cloudy periods with some showers over greater Suva/Nausori – Tailevu, eastern Ra, Naitasiri and Serua-Namosi, Sigatoka – Korolevu, eastern Macuata, Cakudrove, Southern Bua, Kadavu, Beqa and Vatulele, Lau and Lomaiviti group.

Elsewhere, isolated afternoon or evening showers.
